Devar are delighted to announce that we are making a strong start to 2021 with successfully securing the raised access floor contract in the newly completed ICD Brookfield Place in the Dubai International Finance Centre for the UBS AG Dubai branch.
The UBS Dubai Branch is home to advisors from the Wealth Management business, Investment Bank and Global Asset Management. These experts work together to provide their clients with seamless solutions, fully customized to their clients requirements.
Supply and Installation of the 18,000 square foot office space will commence this January 2021.
The project will incorporate our Medium Grade cementitious corner lock panel system accepting a broad range of floor finishes such as natural stone, timber planks, ceramics as well as carpet tiles throughout. Our anti-static HPL floor system will be utilised within the server rooms.
The 53-story, 282-meter-high ICD Brookfield Place, designed by Foster + Partners, is the first major project to get under way at the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) since the onset of the 2008 financial crisis.
It contains more than 91,000 square meters of office space and connects to an adjacent, 13,935-square-meter, five-story retail center. There is also a 1,672-square-meter public area flanked by restaurants that will feature regular arts and cultural events, and the complex will have parking for 2,700 cars.
The top three floors of the tower are being built as “Sky View suites” with internal gardens, featuring 6-meter ceilings. The project has been designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
The main contract to build ICD Brookfield Place was awarded to the joint venture between Brookfield Multiplex and South Korea’s Ssangyong Engineering and Construction.
