Devar have the pleasure in announcing that we have successfully completed phase 1 for the raised access flooring works for the new ‘MGM Grand Paradise – Cotai’ project.
The impressive new HK$24 billion complex designed as the “Jewelry Box” of Cotai, plans to offer approximately 38,000m2 of 1,500 hotel rooms and suites, meeting space, high end spa, retail offerings and food and beverage outlets as well as the first international Mansion at MGM for the ultimate luxury experience.
The design Architects for the project are Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) and will mark our first project in Macau for them as a specified system.
The Main Contractor for the project is China State Construction and marks our first project for them in partnership with Iek Mei Engineering Company Limited who undertook the installation of the project.
This project marked the introduction of our galvanised encapsulated calcium sulphate system using our LMG670 ‘gravity lay’ panel together with our Genesis 1 pedestal at a 450mm FFH.
This system has been fully tested by an accredited UKAS testing laboratory to the PSA MOB PF2 PS/SPU standard. The Cotai resort is expected to be open by the first quarter of 2017.
